This was my first (accidental) experience in project management. I was working on the French localization of the game, and ended up unwittingly taking a role of manager for the other translators and their work, helping the developers predict difficulties and upcoming issues, and helping the whole team avoid them. It was an engaging experience, and one that I have repeated since, but this time more intentionally.
The aesthetic and the style of the game are both wonderful. I've never been a big fan of dark fantasy, as I often find it far too depressing, but the story woven here is one of underdogs (well, under-bears, wolves, weasels, mice, beavers and rabbits) facing off against overwhelming odds, and navigating a hostile environment that wants nothing less than their demise... and what can I say, I'm a sucker for tales of underdogs destined to fail, but tenaciously pushing forward nonetheless. I really enjoyed working on it, even if the Dawn's Point vernacular was at times very, very hard to transfer into French. That said, I love a challenge.
